Dell XPS m1330 Specs

The processor can be configured up to an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz with the up to date Intel T7500 chipset

You can either choose the 13.3″ WXGA (1280×800) White-LED (WLED) display with a 0.3 Megapixel camera or the regular cathode ray display with a 2 megapixel camera. Both displays are widescreen.

Docking station alternative on the XPS m1330

Right now there is no XPS m1330 docking station available on the market from Dell. The laptop has also no dockingstation conncetor to it. The only way to extend it is by using USB devices. Of course you can easily set up an external monitor for it. You can either use the standard VGA or the integrated HDMI connector with an adaptor to hook it up to a DVI port on a monitor

Hard disk selection on the Dell XPS m1330

When it comes to the hard disk, Dell makes it really interesting, as they offer a state of the art 32 GB solid state disk (SSD). The solid state disks don’t have any moving parts and though are very rough and don’t get damaged if you accidentally drop the laptop. Apart from that they safe a lot of power that is being used to spin the disks in regular hard drives. You could also get up to a 200 GB SATA regular hard drive.

The built in slot loading optical drive is a CD and DVD burner combination

In the high end configuration for the Dell m1330 you can get a NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS graphics card with 128MB of dedicated memory.

When it comes to wireless functionality Dell does it again, the new N-standard (next Gen) is available, or you choose the regular 02.11a/g card.

Or course the m1330 machine also offers Bluetooth

Apart from the regular VGA video output it even features a HDMI video jack to directly connect to a TV. Of course the HDMI can be used for a monitor through a HDMI to DVI adapter.

In the regular pc slot is a multimedia remote stored that can be used for presentations like power point of to control you favorite video playback software. Imagine setting the m1330 up with your LCD-TV and using the remote to control your movie.
